Hey Backers,

With 2020 winding down, we’re working hard to finish our next batch of 250 Enophones. We’re on schedule with these units – manufacturing is near-complete, and they’ll be shipping in the next weeks.

Incase you missed it: check out our previous update for information about our shipping timeline, shipping order, and how to update your address.

In parallel, we’ve been reflecting on our progress this year, and looking eagerly towards our next steps. While our focus has been primarily on shipping our hardware, we’ve been making quiet progress on our data science and software in the background. In this update, we’ll be focusing on the most exciting part of Eno: the neurotech.

We mentioned in our last update that we’ve shipped 350 units to date, and are shipping the next 250 in the coming weeks. We’re still on schedule for this batch. Check out our previous update for our most recent timeline.

This update we’re discussing several neurotech experiments that we’ve run recently using Enophones – measuring blink rates, SSVEPs, alpha blockades, and more. Check out the full update for the details.

Last, we go through the next few features we’re designing into the Enowork app. We’ve been listening to the feedback of our beta testers, and we’re really excited about the next steps for our software.

2020 has been a wild ride, but we’re so excited to have been able to finish it by shipping hundreds of Enophones. We can’t wait to ship the remaining units next year, so all of you can share in the experience.

Hey Backers!

November has been a crazy month for us – after many months of hard work, shipping hundreds of units has been exhilarating. We can’t wait to ship many more, and get Enophone into the hands of all of our backers.

This update will focus on clarifying our next steps, and providing some details for both backers who have received their units, and those coming soon.

350 units have been received to date, with 250 more coming this month. We’re working on our next batch of 2500 units, which will be shipping in February. We will be shipping in the order that the units were purchased, starting with Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and then our website.

We’ve included instructions below about finding your backer number, and updating your shipping address. It’s important that Kickstarter and Indiegogo backers fill out the backerkit survey. If you ordered through thinkmindset.com or enophone.com, nothing more is needed.

Finally, we’ve released the latest update 0.1.2 to the Enowork app. If you have received your unit and are using the app, we need your help finding bugs – please reach out if you encounter any issues!

Hey Backers! 

Just a quick touchbase, as we prepare to ship your units. Please check out the full update on our blog. 

For those who've filled out the backer kit survey, we've locked in the orders and charged the credit cards. No other action is required on your side, and you'll no longer be able to update your address. You'll be receiving shipping labels when the products leave our logistics provider. 

We'll be shipping our next batch from our factory Monday October 26, and you should receive them a couple weeks later. The next batch of 2500 units will be produced ~6 weeks after, once we've been able to analyze the results from the latest production cycle.

Hey Backers!

We have been very busy in the last couple of weeks running beta test and preparing for the next shipping batch. Our beta testing with backers has been fruitful, and we have been able to improve the reliability of the product along all fronts. We’re excited to be shipping our next batch of 500 units very shortly, and can’t wait to get your reactions! 

No video this time, since we have lots of important details to share about updating your addresses. We also have lots of great images of the next batch – enjoy!

We have released a new backerkit survey, in order to confirm everyone’s final shipping addresses. Please follow the link in your emails to confirm your addresses, as well as any additional orders and credit card information if necessary. To be clear: we will not send your device until you review and confirm your address through backerkit.

The next batch of 500 units is well underway, and will be shipping in roughly 10 additional days once the Mid-Autumn Festival ends in China. We can’t wait to get you your units! Check out the full post to see some amazing pictures of the assembly underway.

We got some great feedback from our beta testers, and have incorporated the comments into improvements on both the hardware and software. Thank you to all our beta testers – your help has been invaluable!

You will all be receiving a new backerkit survey by email very shortly. This is because for some of you it’s been a while since you updated your shipping address information – as a result, there is a high risk that the current information isn’t up to date. As a result, we decided to re-open the backerkit survey, and require everyone to review their information. This way we will avoid sending units to the wrong place.

To be clear: we will not send your device until you review and confirm your address through backerkit.

Welcome back to our video update series!

This time, we’re doing a deep dive into enosound: our neuro-adaptive focus music engine. We’ll be describing why we built it, how it works to improve your focus, and where you can demo it today.

The beta units are shipped! We’ve gotten great feedback from our beta testers so far – thank you very much to everyone who volunteered to help. Our next batch of 400 units is being manufactured this month as intended, and shipped next month.

The video below describes our enosound focus music, which leverages enophone’s brain sensing to provide focus soundscapes that sound great while training your brain’s sustained attention. Check it out to learn more!
