Last Few Days & 2 Stretch Goals!

Hey Backers!

We've come a long way but were not done yet.

Behind the scenes were putting into motion a marketing strategy that were confident will pave the way to $1M in pledges. We’re working hard on our side to bring this campaign to a successful conclusion!

We need your help one last time though. Please share the campaing on facebook, twitter, blogs and forums. Click the following titles to quickly share the page! 

 

In order to make the prize even sweeter, we’re adding not one, but TWO stretch goals!

Music is a huge part of concentration! When we get to $900K, we’ll include concentration soundtracks built directly into the app - white noise, binaural beats, nature sounds, and more! Using Mindset’s EEG, track your progress and find out which soundtracks improve your concentration the most! Share the campaign with everyone you know, and let’s hit this goal!  

Big milestones mean big features. When we reach $1M we’ll make all the electrodes removable! You’ll be able to wear the headphones without electrodes when concentration isn’t the goal, for maximum comfort. You can also swap in new electrodes when they wear out for improved signal quality, or even use custom electrodes! Let’s spread the word and bring this to life!

Let’s give this one last push, share it as wide as possible, and bring this campaign to a successful close!

Hey Backers!

Another week come and gone, and with it some big news. Let’s get right into it!

Congratulations!

Now that we reached $600K, we’ll be taking Mindset to the next level: train your brain to improve your calm, and enhance your creativity. These medically validated protocols will help you train like the pros, from Olympic athletes to professional musicians.

We’re really excited about adding this new feature. Our calm and creativity neurofeedback profiles will bring a new dimension of training to Mindset – we can’t wait for you to experience it! Here’s a sneak peak at the app screen for the neurofeedback training:  

 And of course, finishing one stretch goal means opening up another!

Here’s a little story:

When we were designing Mindset in Shenzhen, we started with the vision in mind of creating the perfect pair of work headphones. To make true on that promise, we bought a bunch of great headphones, handed them out to fellow entrepreneurs, and watched how they used them.

One thing in particular stood out to us: nobody used the play/pause buttons on the headphones. The reality is, play/pause buttons on a headphone are a poor experience: they’re hard to reach, often weirdly placed, and you tend to forget which button is which. It’s clearly not very user friendly.

When our backers spoke out in the comments about play/pause functionality, we knew we had to rethink this experience. We decided to add this feature, but we didn’t think that layering yet another button was the best way to do so. In the end, we decided to go with the most intuitive solution: automatic play/pause.

Once we reach $750K, Mindset will integrate automatic play/pause functionality. When you take off the headphones, the music will pause – when you put them back on, it will play again. A simple, intuitive experience that will seamlessly integrate into your work flow. Share the news, and let’s makes sure we reach this goal!
